I honestly haven’t witnessed a greater balance in AFK / active play in a gacha game, and there are plenty of modes to complement each playstyle, as well as a wealth of free “Energy” to let you even game for hours on end daily. The story mode is huge, and there’s literally hundreds of stages worth farming, and a lot of them that will require you to invest more in your strategy, team formation & rune build in order to be successful. It’s worth mentioning that the game features an awesome real-time ranked PvP mode, that’s hands-down the best PvP I’ve had in a gacha game – ever.īrave Nine (previously known as BrownDust) hasn’t been out for long, but it has managed to build a quite loyal playerbase, since it offers a unique strategy aspect to the tried & true “hero collector” gameplay, by putting way more emphasis into team lineups and synergies, as well as being able to bring out 9 heroes (or even more in other modes) on your team, making it such more meaningful than its competitors. The good news is that the game’s launch is already far behind, therefore if you start out now, you’ll be showered with opportunities to build a great team!

One major negative arriving with such a high-budget production, is a super P2W progression system, that could almost compete with DBZ: Dokkan Battle. The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is the most polished traditional (looking at you Genshin Impact?) gacha game out there, featuring the most beautiful 3D character models, and a fully animated story that follows the anime, and is not even the same! It’s a complete remake of the story in order to fit great with mobile devices (both in portrait & landscape mode!), and a super high-quality production, along with perfect localization.įinding any of the traits mentioned above is pretty much impossible for any other gacha game, so no matter your preferences and taste, since you’ve visited this list, you owe it to yourself to at least try the game! In the worst-case scenario, you’ll get a glimpse of how your favourite gacha game could look & feel, if it had such a big budget & franchise behind it!
